Manali -Leh – Pangong – Tso Moriri – Manali Bike Expedition

The Northern frontier of India has always been home to a rich and prosperous culture. Navigate the toughest passes on a trip of Manali to Leh on the bike, the empty stretches of highways and rock-strewn pathways in the mountains all of which reward you with gorgeous vistas that make the ride worthwhile!
- Day - 1 : Arrive in Manali (By Bus)
On arrival in Manali, check-in to the hotel and relax till afternoon. Grab a quick lunch, post which you test your motorbike and get used to the roads. Go riding on the Himalayan riding premier through the challenging roads along the Kullu Valley. The tricky bends and stretches on the road will help you test the characteristics of the bike and acquaint yourself to handle the motor beast for your entire tour. Enjoy a fun ride to the beautiful Kullu Valley. Later, come back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
- Day - 2 : Manali- Sarchu
Wake up early this morning and begin your adventure. Start your ride to Rohtang Pass (3978 meters). The beautiful mountain pass is the gateway of your bike tour. This first leg of your journey is your first challenge as the roads are really bad and the weather conditions are also uncertain. Overcome your first test, after which you will pass through the Lahaul Valley. Lahaul introduces you to the mountains capped with snow all around This highway route, takes you into the heart of the mountains. Enjoy the splendid view as you pass through the Baralachha Pass (5000 meters above sea level). Keep driving towards Sarchu which is the border line between Kashmir and Himachal. From there, get to the Sarchu camp. Relax for the rest of day and keep a high intake on fluids to keep away AMS (acute mountain sickness).
- Day - 3 : Sarchu To Leh
The day starts with a lot of challenges. Today you will have to ride your motorbike through flatlands and get into the mountain horizon. Drive through the Tanglang-La Pass which is the second-highest motorable mountain pass in the world at the height of 5300 meters. After crossing this pass, you will ride through well-maintained roads all the way to Leh. En-route, get to see the monasteries of Thiksey and Shey. These ancient monasteries are set on the top of a hill and are attractions of your tour. Check-in at the hotel in the borders of Changspa in Leh. Spned your time exploring the local places. Rest for the night.
- Day - 4 : Leh To Nubra
Indulge in an excursion to Khardungla pass (34 kms one way) in the morning.Feel excited to cross the highest motorable pass in the world which can pose tough challenges you, especially during winter.Overnight Stay in nubra after enjoying the adventurous sights.
- Day - 5 : Nubra-Pangong
Nubra/ Pangong Lake. On day 7 of your Manali to Leh Ladakh bike trip, start off to visit Pangong Lake in the morning.You have to cover almost 150 KM one way to reach Pangong Lake.Such a charismatic beauty the high altitude lake portrays as the surrounding mountains shimmer their reflections on the blue-green water of the lake.Spend a quality time, and stay overnight in Pangong.
- Day - 6 : Pangong-Hanle
- Day - 7 : Hanle-UmlingLa-TsoMorir
- Day - 8 : TsoMoriri-Tsokar
- Day - 9 : Tsokar-Sarchu
- Day - 10 : Sarchu –Manali

- Petrol - all riders will be expected to pay their own fuel bills at petrol stations. The kitty will pay for spare fuel that we carry in the back-up truck – we will need to top up tanks in Pang and Sarchu and there are no petrol pumps in this area. Petrol cost Minimum INR 3000 & Maximum INR 4000 approximately.
